I’m Dreaming Of A White Christmas….

Merry Merry from Antoinette

Oh, that wasn’t a dream! It is definitely white and deep with the famous Niseko powder snow.

The snow has been slow to start but has arrived!  We’ve definitely had plenty but with days of warmer temperatures and rain. Now it just continues to snow!

With snow, everything takes a tad bit longer. When you go out to your car in the morning and it is encased in 2 feet of snow, it takes patience. Driving demands 110% of your attention. You bundle up in numerous layers before leaving the house. When you go into homes and certain establishments you always remove your shoes. Removing snow boots with bulky gloves on is another feat altogether. Trying to keep your socks on as you do this is another challenge. You get my drift!

Friends have asked me if having a white Christmas creates more of a holiday spirit. Since I didn’t grow up with snow, it doesn’t but I appreciate the beautiful and peacefulness that I experience. It is a very different Christmas for me this year.

No matter what faith you believe in or holiday you celebrate, may you truly enjoy the time with family and friends. May you be grateful for all the blessings in your life. I know I am!

Merry Christmas and may 2020 bring you love, peace and adventure.

From my heart to yours,

Antoinette
